Eminem is the first work in Renzo Valenti’s Binary Faces series and the portrait through which the concept began to take shape.

Thousands of individually painted fragments form the recognizable face, while remaining visible as an abstract structure when viewed up close. The black-and-white composition creates a strong contrast between the clarity of the portrait and the fragmented structure beneath it.

The work marks the beginning of an ongoing exploration of identity, perception and the relationship between digital visual structures and traditional painting.
